Dear friends,

The tragic death of one of Wayzata's finest, Officer William Mathews, remains heavy on the heart of our community. An incredibly sad reminder of how precious and fragile life is. In the coming days and weeks and months ahead, let our prayer and the prayer of a community grateful for his service surround his family and fellow officers and friends and neighbors.

Great Expectations for kids

This amazing community truly cares about kids through  Great Expectations . Here's what's been going on...

At the Great Expectations Breakfast in August, 101 people raised their hands to get engaged and help kids succeed. Missed the event? See the handouts and learn ways to volunteer with youth.

Have a Facebook account? View event photos.

There is still time to donate to the youth and education efforts via the Great Expectations campaign that ends on Sept. 30.
