Remembering Greg O'Neill
We have lost a true friend and leader in aging. Greg O'Neill, a beloved member of the GSA team for more than 20 years, has passed away. Greg received our Leadership in Longevity award in 2017 for leadership, vision & integrity. Senior Housing News Summit in Los Angeles
MFA was proud to join industry leaders this year at the Senior Housing News (SHN) Summit in Los Angeles! Important topics discussed during the gathering included innovations in senior living options and voice-activated technology platforms. According to a summit recap from the SHN team, Ginna Baik, strategic business development manager for senior care at CDW-Healthcare, shared that, "In the top 100 providers in senior living right now, of those, I've probably had a conversation about smart apartments with nearly 80% of them."

NIA Eureka Prize Competition Announced
The National Institute on Aging (NIA) has announced their Eureka Prize Competition: "Improving Care for People with Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias Using Technology (iCare-AD/ADRD) Challenge. The total prize for this competition is up to $400,000 and up to 3 winners will be awarded. NIA is seeking technology-based application solutions that foster connections between relevant stakeholders to improve dementia care coordination and/or care navigation. Submission period ends on June 30, 2019.
