Eternal Flame Community Poll

Provide your feedback!

The City is seeking community input on the future resurfacing of the Eternal Flame, a sculpture in the City’s public Art Collection that is being reimagined and relocated as part of the New Aquatic Center project at Orange Memorial Park. Community members are encouraged to review four design options and select the option you believe best honors South San Fracisco veterans, preserves the spirit of the Eternal Flame, and creates a meaningful long-term memorial. The survey is open through September 7, 2026.

The Veterans Memorial project information is available at the project webpage www.ssfca.gov/veterans-memorial. Project related questions and comments can be directed to parkprojects@ssfca.gov.

Learn more about the Eternal Flame sculpture by visiting the Interactive Art Map on the Cultural Arts page: www.ssfca.gov/CulturalArts.
