While the crispness of fall keeps creeping in, the summer isnât over yet and WE CAN is keeping the energy rolling! Join us for Second Summer Cycle on Sunday, September 14th â a fun and meaningful ride with purpose; We still have many volunteer spots available, and we need your help to make the ride safe, smooth, and fun for everyone involved. We invite you to join us as a volunteer to support our community in this special way (more details below).
September also brings important moments of reflection & celebration. From Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 â October 15), when we honor the rich contributions of the Hispanic community, to Suicide Prevention Month, a reminder of the importance of connection, support, and checking in with one another. Just like we say at WE CAN, no one should have to face challenges alone.

Resiliency = Happier Life

Life sends us challenges and changes⊠building resiliency supports our capacity to face those situations with greater success. In this interactive workshop we will dig deeper into what a resilient life looks like and how you, yourself, can strengthen your own resiliency. Attendees will have an online strength assessment to discover strengths you didnât realize you had and how to tap into them. Weâll increase awareness of how youâve built your resiliency, and not even realized it. Weâll look at current or anticipated challenges and look to boost your resiliency on the front end, so you can navigate them with greater ease. Resiliency is like a muscle⊠with intention we can strengthen it⊠Letâs learn how!

Power Within Her Group

Power Within Her is an 8 week program of self-discovery. It is a structured, group-driven experience that offers guidance, support, encouragement, and accountability. Power Within Her is designed to create a safe, supportive and interactive platform where each participant feels a sense of belonging and can be heard and seen without judgement. In this workshop you will move from the question of, âWho am Iâ to the clear and powerful statement of, this is âWho I amâ. It is a plan for discovery and growth and it is all about you.

Circle of Support

Circle of Support is a 6 week group facilitated by a trained mental health professional. Groups meet for 1.5 hours each week. Group is designed for women who are in the process of divorcing.
