Cancer and its treatment can be stressful for people with cancer and their caregivers. Relaxation techniques and other mind/body practices can help calm your mind and sharpen your ability to focus. To complement our free, emotional support services for people with cancer and their loved ones, Cancer Care  has partnered with BodyMind Sessions to bring you the Cancer Care  Meditation app. The app aims to help people affected by cancer manage the symptoms of treatment, let go of anxiety, achieve deep, restful sleep and stay emotionally balanced.

Our BMT Patient Navigators are certified in oncology navigation. They can help you to:
• Learn about transplant
• Understand the donor search process

• Prepare for and cope with life after transplant

Do you need help coping with BMT and recovery? 
Our licensed clinical social workers provide confidential, one-on-one telephone-based counseling to help you or your loved ones cope with BMT and recovery. Learn more at  BeTheMatch.org/Coun­seling .

We’ll put you or your caregiver in touch with someone who has been through the transplant journey. Our trained peer-volunteers are available to talk by phone or email. Request a connection at  BeTheMatch.org/PeerConnect

Are you unsure about how you will pay for treatment? 
We can help you learn about your health insurance and how to start fundraising. We offer financial grants qualified patients who have difficulty paying for donor search costs before their transplant, and out-of-pocket medical or other living expenses after transplant. We also offer a financial grant to help with travel costs to join a clinical trial.
