Backyard Renovation

We are so excited to have been selected by Primoris Services Corporation as the beneficiary of their 2024 community project. To extend their commitment to enhancing the lives of people living with dementia, Primoris will be transforming the Dementia Enrichment Center's backyard into a beautiful oasis! We've seen a sneak peak of the plans and we are in for a HUGE treat. Construction should begin mid-September and be complete in early October, just in time for the beautiful Central Texas autumn weather. Follow us on Facebook to watch the transformation!

Take Me Home Program

The Take Me Home Program is a database created for law enforcement to quickly access information on people who are missing and need help finding their way back home. The program is designed for individuals who may need special assistance including those with dementia, autism, or specific mental health needs.

When a person is reported missing to dispatch or a missing person is found, law enforcement officers will have access to their information including their name, a current photo, and comments about them to help them return home.

This program is currently available in the Belton and Harker Heights communities. Belton residents can be registered here or by visiting the Belton Police Department at 711 E. 2nd Avenue, in Belton. Harker Heights residents can be enrolled by calling Healthy Homes at (254) 953-5429 to schedule an appointment for the intake process.
