C elebrate the rich cultural texture of our city with many exciting events this month - be part of them all!
 
Culture Days is a national celebration of the arts and culture community that unites people, creates lively spaces and instills civic pride. A number of artists and arts, culture and heritage groups will be hosting workshops, performances and interactive displays. The City will kick off Culture Days with a ribbon cutting event on September 29. Join us as we celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Churchville Community, where a public art piece has been installed to commemorate this great milestone.   
 
On September 30, with free admission to all locations, Doors Open Brampton 2017 showcases some of the city's most intriguing and charming historical sites, many of which are celebrating milestones.

Stop for Crossing Guards
Ontario law states that vehicles and bikes must remain stopped at school crossings until all pedestrians are safely on the sidewalk. If you don't, the fine is $150 to $500 and three demerit points. Kids are back in school - help keep them safe.  [more...]
