VegMichigan's 4th Annual Free Festival
Sunday, September 15th, 11am to 5pm
Riley Park in Downtown Farmington
(33113 Grand River Ave.)
The food is always the highlight of VegMichigan's free festival. This year, we will be showcasing some of the best vegan food Michigan has to offer from 30 restaurants, specialty food vendors, and food trucks.
This Free Festival is a wonderful place to invite friends and family to show them how many great plant-based options are available today and they can also learn about why this lifestyle is growing in popularity.
Chive Kitchen, only steps from the festival, will be offering festival inspired mixed drinks and an all-day vegan brunch. In addition, other restaurants surrounding the festival will also be offering vegan menu options.
Riley Park in Historic Downtown Farmington is the Perfect Venue
Riley Park is a popular concert venue. Please bring you picnic blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy live music and other entertainment on the huge lawn.
Riley Park is also home to the Farmington Farmers Market with the massive covered pavilion. We will provide plenty of tables and chairs.

Your Support will Double the Impact of VegMichigan's Important Work
VegMichigan’s success in encouraging so many Michiganders to move toward a plant-based diet or go vegan is gaining the attention of larger funders who value the work we are doing. For the first time in VegMichigan's 20-year history, a generous donor has offered to match all funds raised up to $25,000! This has the potential to allow us to share the benefits of a plant-based diet to a wider audience in Michigan. Now more than ever, your membership or donation to VegMichigan will go much further and will allow us to expand on our already successful programs, festivals, and other forms of outreach. Please consider joining VegMichigan, and your $40 membership fee will become $80, plus you still receive all the great perks of being a VegMichigan member such as free entry into VegFest and other great benefits. You can also make a donation to VegMichigan and your impact will be doubled. Together, we can make a real difference.
VegFest 2020 is Moving to Detroit
The biggest annual vegan event in Michigan is moving to a new location! Just as the Pistons and Lions recently moved to Detroit, VegMichigan wants to take part in Detroit's resurgence and we could not think of a better place than Eastern Market to host VegFest 2020. With their central location, recent building updates, and their commitment to recycling, we are excited to be making the move. VegFest will be held on May 31, 2020 . Dr. Greger has already signed on to speak and he will be signing his new book, How Not To Diet. Stay tuned for more major VegFest announcements!
