September 2018

Fall is Nearly Here!

Fall is a very busy time of the year here at Rockfall. Award nominations and grant applications are open. We have a great series of events, including our Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony in November, and our first annual Holiday Party in December.

And coming up this month, we'll have Meet Your Greens in the rooftop garden of the Community Health Center with special guest Jane Harris; our first Repair Cafe at the Middletown Senior Center, and a river cleanup volunteer opportunity at the end of the month. Hope you can join us!

Skilled volunteers will help fix and teach you how to fix your things--saving you money and keeping items working and out of incinerators and landfills.

Tool use and help is free. Participants cover spare part costs or bring their own. Special thanks to Perk on Main for providing coffee and snacks! And to our many volunteer experts for giving their time to help with repairs, including Off the Hook Cell Phone & Tablet Repair. More information here.
