The Washington Post: Fairfax County approves new measure to protect historic River Farm

Our fears of a developer swooping in to buy and develop River Farm and its adjacent Potomac River lots were not unfounded. Fairfax County took an important step last night in strengthening the Historic Overlay District status of River Farm, but we must remain undeterred that this amazing site will not fall into the wrong hands. 
NVCT's Fall Canoe/Kayak Cleanup

Our fall NVCT Canoe/Kayak Cleanup is almost here! On Sunday, September 26, 2021, from 10:30 am - 1 pm, please join us to clean up Hunting Creek, a tidal wetland that flows directly into the Potomac River and the Chesapeake Bay.
