Our Education Specialist, Megan, recently had the opportunity to speak with the Rotary Club of Cape Coral Sunset about KLCB’s work throughout the county and the many ways our community can get involved. Our Litter Prevention & Education Coordinator, Rachel, recently toured Lee County Solid Waste’s Material Recovery Facility (MRF) and Waste-to-Energy Facility for a firsthand look at how recyclables are sorted and processed and how waste is converted into energy.
