SEPTEMBER 2026 | GENERAL ELECTION

SAMPLE BALLOT EDITION

A NOTE FROM

SUPERVISOR LEAH VALENTI

Special Edition Newsletter: Your Sample Ballot is HERE!

The November 3 General Election is quickly approaching, and being prepared before you vote helps make the process easier and more efficient for everyone.

Your Official Sample Ballot is an important tool to help you prepare. Take time before voting to review your entire ballot, research the candidates and contests, make your selections, and bring your completed sample ballot with you when voting in person. Using your sample ballot as a guide can help streamline the voting process and reduce the amount of time you spend at the voting booth.

This election, preparation is especially important. In addition to candidate races, voters will be asked to consider three proposed constitutional amendments, two county referendums, and one School Board referendum. These ballot questions can have a direct and lasting impact on our state and local community.

We encourage voters to read each question carefully, research what a YES or NO vote means, and make an informed decision before arriving to vote. Your sample ballot is a great way to familiarize yourself with these questions ahead of time.

Whether you choose to Vote-by-Mail, vote during Early Voting, or vote at your assigned polling location on Election Day, make your plan, review your entire ballot, and be prepared before you vote.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact our office at 941-833-5400 or email us at SOE@SOECharlotteCountyFL.gov.
