UPCOMING EVENTS

  • 25 September 2021 CPC Tailgate #3 Join us from 3:15-5:15 pm (kick-off is at 6:00 pm) AF vs. Florida Atlantic. Our tailgates are some of the best, but we need your help! ​Please RSVP and sign up to volunteer.

  • 9 October 2021 CPC Tailgate #4 2:15-4:15 pm (kick-off at 5 pm). Air Force takes on Wyoming.

  • 10 October 2021 Fall General Membership Meeting Join us for a virtual meeting starting at 6:30 pm. This is a great chance to meet your CPC Board and receive updates on past and future activities. See below to RSVP. You will be sent a meeting link.

  • 12 October 2021: Deadline for Halloween Goodie Bag and 3-value pack orders. Place your order HERE.

  • 23 October 2021 CPC Tailgate #5 as AF takes on San Diego State. 2:15-4:15 pm (kick off at 5 pm).

  • 24 Oct 2021: Goodie Bag Assembly at the Field House and delivery to cadet POCs. A sign up for Volunteers will be coming out soon.

Colorado All Service Academy Ball

This year's Colorado All Service Academy Ball (CASAB) is scheduled for Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs. This year's CASAB is hosted by Air Force, and the theme is "Red Tags and Red Tails." Each year we have the unique opportunity to celebrate all of the amazing young men and women from Colorado who are currently attending a service academy, and the celebration is open to all Colorado cadets and their families. Invitations will be mailed in October, but be sure to mark your calendar for December 29! Would you consider making a donation to help sponsor our event? By giving to CASAB, you will help to create a memorable event for all the Cadets and Midshipmen from Colorado. Hello CPC families!

It was nice to get the chance to meet many of you at our Parents' Weekend tailgate! Thanks to all of you who helped ensure our first tailgate of the year was a success. Weather was perfect, food was delicious, and the company couldn't be beat! We enjoyed visits from General and Greg Letendre, General and Amy Clark, Master Chief Sarah Sparks, the Cheer team, The Bird, and the Falconry team. Be sure to check out some of the tailgate photos below.

Parents' Weekend was a whirlwind, but hopefully you all enjoyed some time with your cadets and had an opportunity to connect with other USAFA families. The Parents' Information Fair was a very busy event, and we took lots of Goodie Bag orders. Thank you so much to our amazing sustaining members who ensured our Goodie Bag table was staffed so we could enjoy time with our sons and daughters. Speaking of Goodie Bags, It's not too late to place your 3-pack/Halloween Goodie Bag orders (deadline is 12 Oct), so be sure to spread the word!

Looking ahead, we hope you will all join us for our Fall General Membership virtual meeting on Sunday, October 10 at 6:30 pm. Please RSVP for the meeting so we can send you the meeting link.

We hope your cadets are enjoying this semester and all of the Academy programs that are back in person. We wish all of our Colorado cadets a successful semester!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM THE
USAFA PARENT LIAISON

  • As may know, the Superintendent has approved a regular Thanksgiving break so Winter Break is set as well.   Please see the information sheet on holiday breaks so you can plan accordingly. Please pass along the information to other parents as needed. Note that parents should always check with their cadet or cadet candidate before purchasing airline tickets and ensure travel time is included in their planning. Holiday 2021 Break Information

  • Call Cadet Outdoor Recreation to purchase airport bus shuttle tickets (719-333-4602). The airport bus shuttle will be available the second week in October 2021.

  • Cadet Issue is no longer selling saber cases, but you can order one from R & R Woodcrafts. Click here to order.
