 Since 1961, the Naples Grape Festival is held every September in the Naples Valley to celebrate the area's grape harvest, talented artisans, wine makers, local and regional music and cuisine. Live Music at the Oasis!
 Our new party pavilion, the Oasis, is open! Join us on the property of Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards, in Hector, NY, for live music on Friday nights, starting at 5PM! Just like with the tiki tent, you'll find Red Cat and Bramble Berry slushies, Red Cat and White Cat On the Beach cocktails and delicious eats like wood fired pizzas. Employee Spotlight: Ian Rossi
Q: What is your position?
A: I work as a Tasting Room Sales Associate with Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards.
Q: How long have you worked at the winery?
A: Since March of 2011.
Q. What is your favorite Hazlitt wine?
A. My favorite Hazlitt wine rotates between our Dry Riesling, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
Q. What do you like to pair our wines with?
A. I rarely drink alcohol with meals. Instead, I often pair my wine with other alcohol. So, I often pair our wines with beer like Old Milwaukee, Genesee Cream Ale and Pabst Blue Ribbon.
Q: What do you do when you're not working at the winery?
A. I like to read, hike, fish and crush beers with great friends.
Q: What is your favorite event we hold at the winery?
A: Seneca Santa. It's a great party for a great cause.
Q. What is your favorite memory of working at Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards?
A. It's too difficult to pin down a specific favorite memory. Between my great coworkers and great customers, I have a lot of great memories.
Q: If you could live anywhere other than the Finger Lakes, where would it be?
A: Topsail Island, NC. Nothing like being by the water.

Harvest is Here!
It's that time of year again, if you can believe it! A few of the white wine grapes are already off the vines and the Finger Lakes are buzzing about harvest 2013.
Farming grapes has always been a major part of our family history. Just as we share our wine with you, we'd love it if we could share the experience of harvest with you all first hand. We're collecting daily updates, photos, videos and commentary from our vineyard team across all four of our farms, to create a Harvest 2013 story that you can follow along with.
