For nearly a quarter of a century, our shop has been a place to find unique treasures while supporting NOVA’s programs for victims of crime in our community. Something New Is Coming to NOVA Thrift! Starting this September, we’re launching a series of Upcycling Workshops: creative, hands-on classes where we transform pre-loved items into something new and unique. Each session will feature a different theme or craft, so there’s something for everyone!
First up: The Upcycled Scarf Workshop!
Join us for a fun, no-experience-needed sewing class where you’ll turn donated T-shirts into stylish, one-of-a-kind scarves. We’ll provide all the materials and walk you through every step.

We're Always Accepting New Volunteers! Looking for a meaningful way to give back to the community? NOVA Thrift Shop is always on the lookout for dedicated volunteers to help us make a difference! Whether you love sorting unique thrift finds, organizing displays, assisting customers, or working behind the scenes, there’s a place for you on our team. If you are interested in volunteering, you can inquire at the shop or call Maria White, Thrift Shop Manager, at 215-249-8000.
A Reminder Regarding Donations: We’re always grateful for donations and encourage donors to consider the condition of their items, especially hard goods. While we can recycle textiles, unsellable hard goods ultimately need to be disposed of, which impacts our resources. Please note that items with cracks, chips, or other damage can’t be resold. We have the right to reject items if broken, damaged, or heavily soiled.
For the safety of our team, we also kindly ask that if you're donating a heavy item, please bring someone along to help with lifting. We also ask that individual bags of clothing weigh no more than 30 pounds each.

This September, the NOVA Thrift Shop is celebrating 24 years of community, generosity, and impact. Since first opening its doors in 2001, the shop has grown into much more than a place to find great bargains. It’s a vital part of NOVA’s mission to Support Victims and Stop Violence throughout Bucks County.
Every donation, every purchase, and every hour volunteered at the NOVA Thrift Shop directly benefits NOVA’s programs and services, ensuring we can continue meeting needs even when traditional funding falls short. In fact, the shop has become one of NOVA’s most important sources of support, transforming gently used items into life-changing assistance for thousands of children, adults, and families each year.
But the shop’s impact goes beyond funding. It also creates a welcoming space where community members come together, whether they’re shopping for a unique treasure, donating items to support others, or volunteering their time to give back. NOVA Thrift Shop is proof of what can be accomplished when a community joins forces with compassion and purpose.

This month, we're challenging our community to participate in Secondhand September and choose secondhand first, for everything from clothing to home decor and kitchenware. By shopping pre-loved items instead of buying new, you're helping reduce waste, cut down on pollution, and give great pieces a second life.
