We see a welcoming family, living the Gospel of Grace. We see a family where people can safely seek, question, and be revived.  We see a family energized by the Spirit alive in our midst.

Pastor Cindy's Hours

For the month of September Pastor Cindy will be in the office on Mondays and Wednesdays. Please feel free to stop in.

This month Spirit Alive would like to say a big Thank-you to the following people:
  • Dan Skinner and Evan Parshall for their help trimming bushes and putting down rocks on St. Paul's work day.
  • Brittany Parshall for re-designing our letterhead and for her beautiful face painting at the National Night Out, which was quite a hit!
  • Jenni DeVore for orchestrating our involvement in the Kenosha Pride Parade and everyone that participated and gave of their time and effort.
  • Everyone that participated in the National Night Out event- 174 families that came were blessed by your service and desire to be there for them.
  • The Call Committee for all their endless work as we search for our new pastor.
  • Our Care Team for reaching out in person or prayer for those in need.
  • The Band for sharing inspiring music to fill our souls and turn our hearts to our creator.
  • The weekly volunteers for Sunday morning tasks- together we serve our Lord and provide a way to worship with purpose.
  • Mary Cramer our Recording Secretary, and coffee/snacks coordinator, for taking care of our congregation through paperwork and our bellies.
  • For Mike and Roxann Crabb for their endless work on improving and maintaining our website.
  • Jeni Parkinson and Denise Maki for working with St. Paul's to start something special for us - an inter-generational activity in the fellowship hall - more information coming soon.
  • Margie Breckenfeld our Newsletter editor, for sharing the news to keep everyone in the loop with relevant information to stay involved at Spirit Alive.
  • Karen Thomas, for her willingness to make a commitment to Spirit Alive to be our office administrator.
  • Ann Livermore and the SALT team for all their work.
We truly would not be Spirit Alive without you!

Women and Children's Horizon Support Group
  closeup_pink_babys_breath.jpg
"I THOUGHT I WAS ALONE.
I SHARED MY STORY.
NOW I'M NOT ALONE."

Women and Children's Horizons offers a weekly support group for women in mid-life and for women with disabilities of any age who are or were in a controlling relationship. This group nurtures beyond what friends and family can do. Creating relationships with others whose experiences have been similar to their own can fill the gap and meet the need for understanding. Keeping a person isolated is a tactic used by controlling people. This group helps break that isolation, educates about the dynamics of a controlling relationship, and highlights sharing when ready, safety planning, exploring options and enhancing self-esteem. The group meets at a wheel chair accessible sight. Services are free and confidential.
Please call Women and Children's Horizons for more information at 262-656-3500, ext. 104.
