As the leaves begin to turn and we prepare for cooler weather, we’re feeling energized for all that is ahead. September was full of encouragement, from volunteers lending a helping hand, to local partners stepping in with resources, to donors faithfully supporting our mission. Your dedication reminds us daily of the power of community and the hope we can offer together.
It is almost tee time! The Gregg Berens Memorial
“I Golf Because I CARE” Fundraising Tournament is just a couple of weeks away on October 17th, and there is still time to get involved. This event is our only fundraiser of the year and is critical to sustaining the programs that bring help and healing directly to your local neighbors on this side of the mountain. We are also excited to announce that our Don’t Fret, Just Prep event has been rescheduled to Friday, November 1st! This event is designed to equip high school juniors and seniors with practical tools for their future, including FAFSA guidance, college and career planning, and access to local employers and resources. We would love for you to share this event with the students in your life and encourage them to attend. Local employers are still welcome to register to participate, so please help us spread the word! As we move through the fall, we are already looking forward to the holiday season and especially our annual Christmas Store. This tradition allows families to choose gifts for their children with dignity and joy, and your generosity makes it possible. Be on the lookout for our call for donations coming soon!
