Automating for the New Year

If you're doing manual entries into your ERP, benefit websites, retirement websites, or other systems, it is time to consider automation. Automation reduces the time you spend on clerical tasks and allows you to focus on strategic initiatives. It allows you to put the "human" back into your human resources department.

Holiday Schedules

September is the perfect time to double check your holiday schedule in your timekeeping system. With both Christmas Day and New Year's Day falling on Sunday this holiday season, you might need to adjust your holiday schedule if your company will celebrate them on a different day of the week.

In addition to adjusting your holiday schedule in your timekeeping system, you can also review your payroll and/or report delivery schedule to make sure your delivery is not scheduled for a day your company is closed.

National Payroll Week

September 5 - 9, 2022

Founded in 1996 by the American Payroll Association, National Payroll Week celebrates America’s employees and the payroll professionals who pay them. Together through payroll withholding, we contribute, collect, report, and deposit 70% of the U.S. Treasury’s annual revenue, about $2.4 trillion per year. This is done by employers and organizations like ADP.

This special week celebrates many things important to each of us who work. From the economic, cultural, and social achievements of workers, to the significance of “an honest day’s work for an honest day’s pay,” National Payroll Week is a celebration on many levels.

Take the American Payroll Association’s "Getting Paid In America" survey for a chance to win a free paycheck and dream vacation.
