Nutcracker Tea Tickets Are On Sale

Come join us for a delightful afternoon of enchantment as Colorado Ballet Society's National Honor Society for Dance Arts Secondary Chapter presents the annual Nutcracker Tea! Get ready to be transported into a magical world filled with sugar plum fairies, dancing snowflakes, and mischievous mice.

Whether you're enchanted by Tchaikovsky’s iconic music or simply seeking a festive holiday outing, our Nutcracker Teas offer the perfect way to kick off the Holiday season!

Tickets are $38 per person and include hot chocolate, tea, and festive treats with beloved characters from A Colorado Nutcracker. Enjoy photo opportunities with Nutcracker characters and Santa Claus, shop at our charming Sugarplum Boutique, and experience a breathtaking mini performance from A Colorado Nutcracker!

Proceeds received from the Nutcracker Tea will go toward Colorado Ballet Society’s Firm Foundation Legacy Fund. This is a great way to support the Southern Colorado community and local artists as we award both merit and need-based scholarships to dancers.

FREE Masterclass with Scott Martin

We are so excited to have Scott Martin at Colorado Ballet Society on Tuesday, September 16th, for a Masterclass! Taking place from 4:00-6:00 PM, this class is open to dancers Levels 6-7 and is FREE of charge.

Magnificent Obsession

Join us on Saturday, September 20th, at 12:00 PM for a wonderful evening of Worship with our Praise Dance Ensemble and the local community!

We look forward to this event every year and can't wait to worship and praise through dance with our local dance studios and companies.

Admission is FREE and the performance will be held at Sunrise UMC (2655 Briargate Blvd, COS, CO 80920).

Ballet Magnificat! Dance Workshops

Ballet Magnificat! will host a workshop on Saturday, September 20th, from 4:00-8:30 PM. Members of the Ballet Magnificat! Touring Companies, under the direction of Artistic Director Kathy Thibodeaux, will teach.

This workshop will offer multiple styles of dance, including ballet, contemporary, and creative worship. It is open to students ten years of age or older with at least two years of dance training and will be held at Turning Pointe Dance studios (5540 Library Ln, Colorado Springs, CO 80918).

Ballet Magnificat! Performance The Call

We are so excited to announce that Colorado Ballet Society is a proud sponsor of Ballet Magnificat!'s The Call! We're honored to help bring this performance to life, as well as support a few of our Colorado Ballet Society alumnae, Josie Hawkins and Isabel Harris.

Sunday, September 21st at 6 PM, Ballet Magnificat will premier "The Call", a brand-new ballet that is inspired by the true story of Jim and Elisabeth Elliot.

The performance will be held at Louisa Performing Arts Center at The Colorado Springs School, 21 Broadmoor Ave, 80906

Jazz Dance Masterclass with Giordano Dance Chicago

Don't miss the chance to join America’s Original Jazz Dance Company, Giordano Dance Chicago, for a Jazz Masterclass, presented by the Dance Alliance of the Pikes Peak Region. 

The class will be taught by Nan Giordano, Artistic Director and Leader of one of the most critically acclaimed dance companies in Chicago.
