September Highlight: Ashley Coastal Delaware Dream Foundation Bed Donation

We are incredibly thankful for our friends at Ashley Furniture Coastal Delaware and their Hope to Dream Foundation for donating 25 beds for our youth in Sussex County! These Club kids received beds, pillows, sheets, comforters and school supplies for the year ahead. Our youth were so excited to choose a bed of their very own and bring them home!

Program Feature: Brain Games

Our Greater Newark Club held their Brain Games event this past month for their 4th-6th graders. Youth competed in a variety of categories including english, math, science and social studies. The competition included flash cards, timed sheets and game show style questions. Thanks to the support of Dr. Axe, winners received gift cards to FiveBelow. With over 20 participants, this year's competition was fierce!

Club Activity: Greater Dover Back-to-School Night

To prepare for the upcoming school year, our Clubs hold back-to-school nights like the one recently held at our Greater Dover location. Youth were able to visit their classrooms, meet their teachers and connect with new friends. The event was filled with families, water ice, and free Boys & Girls Clubs book bags for all attendees!
