Dear AMS Power Families,
What a great start to our school year! As we wrap up our first month together, I want to take a moment to thank you for helping make the opening of AMS Power so special. August has been a month of learning, growing, and -most importantly- building our school community. Thank you for your support at our Peter Piper Pizza Night- we raised $452!
Our scholars and staff have been working hard to learn routines, expectations, procedures, and what it means to be a Wildcat. We know that establishing strong routines takes time, and we appreciate your patience and partnership as we continue to fine-tune our systems.
🎉 CLUBS START THIS WEEK!
We are excited to kick off clubs this week! Clubs are a wonderful opportunity for our scholars to explore interests, develop new skills, build friendships, and have fun outside of the traditional classroom setting.
We can't wait to see our scholars Power Up their passions!
🚌 TRANSPORTATION UPDATES
Thank you for your continued patience as we work to make arrival and dismissal as smooth and efficient as possible.
Please remember to communicate any transportation changes with your child's teacher as early as possible. This allows our team time to make the necessary adjustments and helps us keep dismissal safe and organized.
We appreciate everyone following our transportation and driveline procedures. Your cooperation makes a BIG difference!
🍎 BREAKFAST & LUNCH ARE FREE!
A reminder to all families: Breakfast and lunch are FREE for our scholars! No sign-up is required to receive school meals.
Please encourage your child to take advantage of our school meal program.

Arizona heat is still here! ☀️
Please make sure your scholar comes to school each day with a labeled water bottle. Staying hydrated helps our students stay focused, comfortable, and ready to learn throughout the school day.
📄 PRINTER PAPER DRIVE
September 8–11th
Help us stock our classrooms while earning a FREE DRESS DOWN PASS! Drop your paper off at the Front Office between September 8–11th.
📚 Bring up to five reams of printer paper to AMS Power.
🎟️ For each ream you bring, you can earn a dress down pass to use during the first quarter, up to five passes total.
Then, use your dress down pass before Fall Break!
Fall Break: October 12–16
Don't wait until the last minute- use those passes and enjoy a dress-down day before break!
