August 15th - Tim Ogle of Hospice of Lake Cumberland on Mid-Mornings with Amy | |
It was great having Tim Ogle on the show Tuesday, August 15! Tim is a Chaplain with Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
Tim sees Hospice patients who request his visits, and he also visits the Jean Waddle Care Center at the hospital. Just having conversations and talking about whatever the patients want to talk about is Tim's main focus. Thank you, Tim, and everyone at Hospice of Lake Cumberland!

August 18th - Steevie Steeves on The Set List with Kate Smith and guest co-host Kevin Dalton | The incredible Steevie Steeves joined Kate and guest co-host, Kevin Dalton on air for an interview in studio! Steevie sang some of her beautifully written original songs and even debuted a brand new song that was released August 25, 2023! Check out her music on all streaming platforms and make sure you follow her socials to stay up-to-date on her career and where you can see her performing live. We also learned that Steevie has many talents, including ventriloquism - find "The Shylo Show," for kids, on YouTube! She's truly just a wonderful soul full of incredible talent. | |

August 21st - Stephanie Roberts of Be The Village on Mid-Mornings with Amy | |
It was great having Stephanie Roberts with Be the Village back on the show. Be The Village helps foster care children and their foster families by providing items such as clothes, diapers, car seats, beds, and so much more. Be The Village also has a support group for foster families. There are about 1,000 in foster care in our region.
You can visit Be The Village online to donate any amount of money to help provide items foster children and their families may need. You can also call Stephanie at 606-875-0491 if you want to donate new items, or give a gift card to a child so they can shop for their own clothes! Thank you, Stephanie and Be The Village!

We had a great time in the studio with Tiffany Finely and John Smithwick from Black Mountain Management. The Black Mountain Jamboree is September 8th and 9th at Hidden Ridge Campground in Monticello! It's always great to see Crystal Cox and Reci Shook with the United Way of South Central Kentucky! They stopped by the show Wednesday morning to talk about the United Way's dinner and comedy show coming up on September 26th. Sharing Smiles with Shawn Reynolds, a well-known clean and funny comedian, is a fundraiser for our local United Way. Tickets for the catered dinner and show are available now. August 25th - Lydia Moore of Hospice of Lake Cumberland on Mid-Mornings with Amy | |
Lydia joined us in the studio to talk about the Jean Waddle Cancer Care Center at the hospital. This 8 bed care center on the 4th floor of the hospital is operated by Hospice, and cancer patients receive care in a home-like environment with their families, and, yes, their dogs!
