Bakery Science Club Participates in World's Greatest Bake Sale
The club participated in the World's Greatest Bake Sale with all proceeds going to No Kid Hungry.

Grain Science Friends and Alumni Golf Tournament
We would like to thank everyone that came out and showed support at the fundraising tournament. All proceeds from this annual event go towards improving the lab spaces in the department. Check out the full event photo album here.

Courtney Truelock
Congratulations to Courtney Truelock on being awarded a Certificate of Excellence for her outstanding presentation at the Poultry Science Association Annual Meeting in San Antonio.
Janak Dhakal and
Aiswariya Deliephan
Janak Dhakal and Aiswariya Deliephan represented the K-State Pet Food Lab at the 10th Annual Arkansas Association of Food Protection (AAFP) Conference held at Fayetteville, Arkansas on September 17-20.

Aiswariya and Janak placed 1st and 2nd, respectively, in their categories of the poster competition at the research symposium.
Alumni Spotlight
Carter Wands currently serves as the product development technologist at Manildra Group located in Sydney, Australia. Due to his research and extensive knowledge, the Manildra Group allows him to choose which new products he develops or which ones he'd like to improve.
