This m onth our fabulous Teacher Appreciation Committe e welcomed our teachers back with a delicious breakfast for all to enjoy!!!

2018-2019 at a Glance - Calendar of Events

FAMILY FUN DAY has been rescheduled.
We will be having an end of the year bash
on Sunday, June 2 from 11-1.

October 1st - 25th - New/gently used coat and socks drive for men, women and children - Collection boxes will be in the temple lobby and Nursery School from Oct 1-25. Benefits the Interfaith Works Clothing Center (adult coats & socks) and students at South Lake E.S. (kids coats & socks).  

October 2nd - 26th - Gift Wrap Fundraiser - Tuesday, October 2nd, please make sure you check your children's tote bags for the fundraising catalog. There are many wonderful items, including Hanukkah gift wrap!!!! People can order from the catalog, or invite out-of-town family and friends to make online orders. Plus, there are some wonderful incentives and prizes!!!! Deadline for orders is Friday October, 26th . Please contact Samantha Friedman at designer.sam@hotmail.com with any questions.

October 2nd - 10th - Notecards Mitzvah Project - Order forms will be coming home in tote bags Tuesday, October 2nd. If you are interested in purchasing notecards with your child's art work, benefiting The Children's Inn at the NIH and the Ronald McDonald House at Fairfax Hospital in Northern Virginia, please turn your order form in by October 10th. They make great holiday gifts!!!

October 4th - Cheeburger Cheeburger Community Night - Join us for dinner at Cheeseburger Cheeburger from 5-8pm. 20% of all proceeds go back to the Parent Committee. Please present your flyer when you eat in, or take out. Click HERE for flyer.

October 24th - Picture Art - Once again every child will have their picture taken during the school day, and proofs will be sent home at a later date with an option to purchase pictures and products. If you would like to bring your non-TBANS children for individual or group pictures before or after school, times will be made available via SignUp Genius in the coming weeks. November 9th - Dalet Tot Shabbat Oneg - Details coming soon!

December 13th - Book Fair from 10-12. There will be crafts, treats, books, and of course a sing-along with Cantor Larry at 11:00. More information to come.

December 14th - Gimel Tot Shabbat Oneg - More information to follow.

March 2 - 30th Anniversary Gala - You won't want to miss this amazing event!
We Need Your Help!
As many of you know, TBANS will be celebrating their 30th anniversary this upcoming year. In celebration of our wonderful Nursery School, we will be hosting a 30 th  Anniversary Gala, on Saturday March 2, 2019, which will include a Silent Auction as our major fundraiser of the year. We would love for our auction to be the biggest and best ever and that’s why we’re reaching out to you for your support and assistance! 

The success of our fundraiser depends exclusively on contributions from our community... gift cards, physical merchandise or services, travel/hotel accommodations, sports/entertainment, monetary donations, etc. Please let us know if you, or someone that you know, would be willing to donate or help solicit any of these items. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! We look forward to celebrating with you on March 2, 2019!!!
