Business Impact & Outstanding Civic Service Awards
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2019 Outstanding Civic Service Award and Business Impact Awards! The recipients of these awards are recognized at the Chamber's Annual Banquet, which is scheduled for January 16th, 2020. Very Berry Christmas Quest
The annual Very Berry Christmas Quest is officially underway! This promotional opportunity for local businesses is a great way to get people in your business during the holiday season. Click the link below for more information!

Businesses are also welcome to provide items for each goody bag for the event. You do not have to host an activity to provide a coupon/item. If you'd like to provide an item, let us know! Contact the chamber office.

We anticipate around  130 goody bags this year. Please drop off items at the chamber office  between November 1st and November 11th.

SLCC Work Experience Job Fair
SLCC is hosting a job fair on September 13th! Participants and the businesses are from all 8 Parishes. The participants of the fair are individuals with little work experience ages 18-24 looking to gain skills that make them marketable to businesses. The WIOA Grant pays their wages and they are on SLCC's insurance. 
CIS Partners with Iberia Medical Center for Cardiac Service Line
Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) has partnered with Iberia Medical Center to manage the cardiovascular service line at the hospital.

This new collaboration will allow for CIS and Iberia Medical Center to provide the most advanced, high-quality cardiovascular diagnostics and treatment to the community of New Iberia. Read the press release at the link below.

Acadiana Diversity Job Fair
The Acadiana Diversity Job Fair connects employers with a diverse applicant pool including persons with disabilities, all ethnic groups, etc. The job fair will be held on October 8th, starting at 9am. Details at the link below.

Iberia Medical Center welcomes Dr. Oliver Achi, Neurologist, to its team of medical professionals. Dr. Achi specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of strokes, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, headaches, tumors related to the brain and spinal cord, and disorders such as Parkinson's disease.

Community Blood Drive at Iberia Medical Center: Are You the "Type" to Save a Life?
Iberia Medical Center will host a community blood drive on Wednesday, September 11 from 10:30 am - 3:00 pm. Look for the bloodmobile in the parking lot at the Main Campus. Donors will be entered in a drawing to win a $1,000 Amazon gift card and will receive a token of appreciation from Iberia Medical Center (while supplies last).
