A Word From Our Director

Welcome to September!

We hope you had a great summer and are looking forward to some cooler weather!

Community Brunch was held on Sunday, September 8, and was a roaring success! Organized by local entrepreneur Dan Costa, this event featured five non-profits who prepare and serve five different kinds of brunch food at the Center Plaza. We were thrilled to be serving crepes with all the fixings and we thank everyone who supported! Besides being a festive community event, the Brunch proceeds benefit the participating non-profits. Thanks to the Costa Family Foundation and our sponsors and supporters, we received almost $93,000 to support our programs throughout the year!

Miracle League baseball began Saturday, September 7, and continues through October 12. It’s fun to watch so stop by our specialized field at the Big Valley campus to cheer for our players! Bowling is still going strong on the first and third Thursdays of every month at McHenry Bowl and Soccer in September and October!

We wish you a good month of cooler weather, fresh air, and happy days.

TOPSoccer

TOPSoccer is back for the fall season! Join us and our friends at MYSA as we host this adapted skills camp. This is a 6-week camp where participants will learn skills to help them enjoy the game of soccer. Coaches are volunteers from the soccer community as well as AJAX players.

Miracle League

The Fall Season of Miracle League has started, but we still need help. If you love the sport of baseball and helping others, then this program is for you. We are in need of Buddies to be paired with Players for the season to help engage and motivate Players. If this sounds like you, register to be a volunteer today!
