This Month's Book Display:
Banned Books Week
September 27th - October 3rd is Banned Books Week! Banned Books Week is an annual event celebrating the freedom to read, and highlighting the importance of free and open access to information.

This month the library is displaying books that have been frequently censored, banned, or challenged in schools and libraries across the country. Check out the list of titles below, and see how many you've read!
National Voter Registration Day:
Get #VoteReady!

The RHEC Library will participate in National Voter Registration Day on September 22, 2020. We will be providing voter registration forms as well as absentee ballot request forms, envelopes and postage to any visitors for FREE. We will also have computer stations open to visitors for them to register to vote or request an absentee ballot online.

The library has also put together a helpful Election Factsheet for anyone interested in voting in the November 3rd General Election. It has information about deadlines, where, when and how you can register to vote, learn about your ballot, and ultimately vote to have your voice heard. We highly recommend checking it out, even if you're already confident you're #VoteReady. You may learn something new!
