5 Top Trending Electrical Projects for Your Property
Submitted by Walter Electric

Summer is coming to a close and it is time to start planning for next year's property improvements. Navigating the best projects to invest in can be daunting. Here is our list to keep in mind and keep current with top area rental properties:

Wiring to Amazon Boxes

Prevent theft and definitely install Amazon Hub Lockers. A convenience to both delivery drivers, tenants, and your management. These "Lockers" ensure packages are safe from theft, and are picked up by the appropriate person. Wiring by an experienced electrician is a must for safety and proper functionality.

EV Charging Stations

A convenience to your tenants, EV Charging stations are a must at your location. Now properties are installing multiple units to keep up with demand of resident's electrical vehicles. Maryland ranks as one of the highest states for Electrical Vehicle Use! Installation is easy and rebates are still available by the state of Maryland. Don't delay, because these rebates will run out.

Security Cameras With Motion Detectors

Safety is always a concern, but incorporating motion sensors with your cameras ensures getting the proper footage when needed. And installed with security lighting even further deters potential thieves. Don't let your property fall victim to theft or intruders. Let Walter Electric put together an outdoor lighting plan to help keep your property protected.

LED Retrofits

With improvements in LED lighting, and rebates available, there has never been a better time to explore LED lighting. Whether for parking lots, parking garages, landscape lighting, or interior lighting, LED's are available in more colors than ever and can really enhance your property. BGE Smart Energy Savers Program is always offering rebates on the purchase of the bulbs, and on the retrofit project. Let Walter Electric navigate the rebates and plan your lighting upgrade.

Automated Power Back Up Systems

With tenants' dependence on electronics and your reliance on keeping your property lit, a backup power source is a must. Walter Electric offers free estimates for these installations and are happy to help you determine the best back up power options for your property.
