Mission Friends, 

As you may know, we have some 500 acres of wilderness land that Lake Beauty purchased back in the mid-1990s. It has been utilized for various purposes over the years, but the greatest question that continually arises is: What is the long-term plan for that area? Now, it was originally purchased because Lake Beauty was at a crossroads of both rentals and retreats, and the former leadership visioned that a retreat center nestled in the woods was what people wanted. Flash forward to the present time, and we are still trying to answer that question about the land...

I have found a love for the Psalms in my adulthood- the ways that the authors capture the spectrum of human emotion is something that I admire, especially as I serve in a ministry setting like this.
