Volunteer Training

We will be holding an 8-week Volunteer Training this fall. As we have not held a training since spring 2018, we have a high number of registrants and registration is currently closed.
PRISMA on the Beach

Thanks to the many volunteers and community members who came out to our PRISMA on the Beach Beer Garden. The Hospice Society was grateful for the opportunity to partner with PRISMA and to engage with the community.
PRISMA at Tea ’n’ Tunes

The Tea 'n' Tunes program hosted two PRISMA students in June. Patients and their families were treated to a cellist and violinist. What a beautiful program! A huge thank you to Julia Adam, MTA and volunteers Maureen and Rod for supporting this program.
New Hire

A warm welcome to Megan Gros, who has accepted the Administration and Program Support position with PRHS. Megan has a wealth of experience with non-profits, media, admin and grant writing and will be a foundational part of the day-to-day administration of the society.
