Eden House is a movement to end the trafficking and selling of human beings. We create systemic change through: youth prevention; education and legislative advocacy, and recovery and reentry services for victims, including long-term shelter.

Thank You to Our
Fantastic Volunteers!
Last month, members of the St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church
and attendees from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists
conference volunteered their time at Eden House.
Volunteers from the St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church take a well deserved break after beautifying the garden at Eden House.

Volunteers from The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists spent their day at Eden House applying a fresh coat of paint to a resident's bedroom and conducting a wonderful medical Q&A with our residents!
Would you or your organization like to volunteer at Eden House? We would love to have you! Our volunteers play a very important role at Eden House and help in a variety of ways. You can find out more about volunteering here .

Board Member, Judge Joy Lobrano, Attends Judges Summit at The Vatican

His Holiness Pope Francis and Bishop Chancellor Marcelo Sanchez Sorondo of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences extended a personal invitation to Eden House Board Member, Judge Joy Cossich Lobrano, to attend and participate in the Academy’s First Pan-American Judges Summit on Social Rights, the Environment, and Social Justice held in Vatican City in Italy.

Judge Lobrano was one of just twelve Federal and State Court judges who attended from the US. The summit brought together judges from all over the Americas who have an active role in the application and development of social, economic, and cultural justice in order to share their experiences, successes, best practices, and projects.

Thank you Judge Lobrano,
for your tireless efforts to bring justice and equity to the citizens of Louisiana!

Fall Intern Spotlight

Bethany is a senior at Tulane University studying Anthropology and Public Health on the pre-medical track. She is excited to be a part of the Eden House team and connect not only with the residents, but also gain insight into the operations of a successful NGO. Specifically, Bethany is excited to observe the operations of an organization that helps not only the residents,
but also the New Orleans community grow.

Applications for Fall internships are still open! To learn more about what our interns do, and to find our application, please visit our website !
