Summer has ended and the Fire Museum of Maryland is back to our fall/winter schedule. The Museum is open every Saturday from 10 - 4. Tickets at the door. But while our public hours are more limited in the fall, our school tours have really ramped up. Things get especially busy in October - Fire Prevention Week 2024 is October 6 - 12 this year. According to the National Fire Protection Association, which has sponsored Fire Prevention Week since 1922, this year's theme is "Smoke alarms: Make them work for you!" The goal is encouraging everyone to have working smoke alarms in the home.
To book a school tour, please contact our Education Director, Aaron Lippincott at alippincott@firemuseummd.org, or call 410-321-7500, x102.
