A Month Filled with Connection

This September, we gather at Congregation B’nai Jehudah for a season of reflection and transformation. We are delighted to welcome our Artist in Residence, Hillel Smith, whose inspiring programs (sponsored by the Michael Klein Collection) invite us to explore creativity and experience Jewish tradition in new ways. His weekend of art and learning opens our hearts and minds, preparing us for the sacred journey of the High Holy Days, which call us to pause, reflect and begin anew. Explore our calendar and join us for these and other meaningful programs throughout the season.

Join us for a lively weekend of music and fun with our Artist in Residence Hillel Smith. This jam-packed weekend is proudly sponsored by the Michael Klein Collection.

Donate food to help our neighbors and friends with food insecurity during our annual High Holy Day Food Drive!

The need is greater than ever and we are grateful to partner once again with JFS Food Pantry. Collect a grocery bag as you leave services on Rosh HaShanah, or fill up your own grocery bags.

Food donations can be dropped off anytime between Rosh HaShanah and Sukkot in the food barrels located just inside B’nai Jehudah’s main entrance. Members of Brotherhood will be available to unload bags from your car prior to Yom Kippur services.

Please donate non-perishable foods.

High Holy Day Mitzvah Tree

Turn over a new leaf in 5786. Start the new year with acts of service!

Look out for the Social Action Committee's Mitzvah Tree in our Kikar this High Holy Day season. We will have different mitzvot (good works) hung on the tree for you to take with you and then complete. Bring your finished tasks (i.e., leaves) to the synagogue during Sukkot so that we can hang them as decorations in our Sukkah.
