Chase Drive Celebration

In August, the City of Rancho Cordova celebrated the completion of the Chase Drive and American River Parkway Connection project. The project was completed in coordination with several partner agencies including the Folsom Cordova Unified School District, Cordova Recreation & Park District, Sacramento County Regional Parks, Cordova Community Council and Soil Born Farms.

Did you know that multiple times a year the city hosts FREE rabies vaccines and microchip clinics for pets of Rancho Cordova residents? There's still time to sign-up! Raccoon Rescue Mission

In the quiet hours of the night, strange cries coming from a Rancho Cordova backyard woke several neighbors. The noises didn’t stop by morning, so the residents went to investigate. To their surprise, they found a juvenile raccoon with its leg stuck in a picket fence! They decided it was time to call Animal Services. Animal Control Officers responded to the scene and, with some creative thinking, were able to free the injured animal.
