New Signs Installed at Bear Hollow Stormwater Basin

The city's Public Works team completed installation of four signs to help you enjoy the beauty of the Bear Hollow Stormwater Basin, learn about the plants and animals living there, and discover ways you can help protect our waterway. Learn more

Safety Improvements to Key City Streets

The city is making important safety improvements along Sunrise Boulevard from the American River Bridge to Jackson Road and along Folsom Boulevard from Bradshaw Road to Hazel Avenue/Nimbus Road. These upgrades include advanced technology to detect high-speed approaches, flashing beacons and improved traffic signal hardware. The project will be completed this fall. Learn more

District Attorney's Office to Hold Youth Academy

High school students can learn about the criminal justice system with the DA's Youth Academy. Topics include crime scene investigations, mock trials, gun violence and cyber-crimes. The deadline to apply is Friday, September 15. Learn more
