Fall is a Time for Transitions

You can feel it in the cool morning air and see it in the glittering aspen trees, Fall has arrived in Colorado. For many, it’s a favorite time of year for hiking, biking and enjoying the great outdoors. As the kids go back to school and summer toys are stored away, preparations are already underway for a stellar ski season (did you purchase your Season Pass yet?).

Yes, fall is a time of transition and Alpine Legal Services is undergoing changes as well. The October Reflections newsletter will announce our new Executive Director and changes to our website and social media presences. We look forward to sharing this exciting news with you. 

In the meantime, we hope you join us for our Justice For All FUNdraiser on Saturday, October 13 ^th at The Temporary in Willits/Basalt. If you have not heard the sounds of local favorite, Jes Grew , here is your chance ~ they ROCK! We will also have a mystery Wall of Wine (WOW!) where your $20 donation nets you the opportunity to pull a random bottle of wine from our GIANT wine rack.

Senior Law Day October 19th Basalt

Alpine Legal Services is proud to be part of the 2nd annual Senior Law Day scheduled for October 19th at the Basalt Middle School.

Presentations include wills & trusts, estate planning, long-term care, fraud, protective services, county resources and more! 1:1 meetings with attorneys are also available, but space is limited, so sign up early by calling us at 945-8858. Lunch is included and refreshments will be served throughout the day. Everyone will also receive the 2018 Colorado Senior Law Handbook (over 490 pages!).
