LaBlast Dance Fitness

Meeting four Wednesday nights, 5:30 - 6:30 PM, at the Cape Light Compact, South Yarmouth. Join us for LaBlast® Fitness, created by Emmy-nominated choreographer & DWTS pro, Louis van Amstel. LaBlast® is a dance fitness program based on all of the ballroom dances you see on Dancing with the Stars. It is partner-free, includes all components of fitness, and uses music from every era & genre. You will work up a sweat during this class!

Breathwork Series

Meeting three Monday nights, 5:30 - 6:30 PM, at The Cape Light Compact, 261 White's Path, South Yarmouth. During this three-week series you will be introduced to various metholds of Breathwork to help you connect to your body and disconnect from your mind. Different breaths can change your mood, your energy, and your life! Each session will end with a 10-minute guided meditation.

First Time Homebuyer

Join us at 5:00 PM for this 45-minute forum at Cape Cod 5 Headquarters, 1500 Iyannough Road, Hyannis featuring Tabitha Baker, Mortgage Loan Officer. This is an in-person workshop, which we will be simulcasting for remote attendees. Topics will include deciding when to buy, an overview of the home purchase process, qualifying for a mortgage, interest rates, understanding your monthly costs, and what is needed to close. Light refreshments will be served.

Fall Walk and Talk

Meeting Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 8:30 AM at Peter Homer Park, Town House Road, South Yarmouth. Come and join us for a lovely morning of fall walking and talking. Beverly and Deanna will both be walking so we can accomodate different paces! Strollers are welcome too! If you attend at least 15 of the walks you will receive points on our Wellness Portal!

Pound Cardio

Meeting eight Tuesday nights 5:30 - 6:30 PM at the Cape Light Compact, 261 White's Path, South Yarmouth. Pound is an exercise class with rock-star flair! The class consists of drumming, cardio, and strength training mixed with some yoga and Pilates. Drumming to a certain beat, especially in synchrony with other people, works to stimulate the brain!  A full body/mind workout is in store for you! There is a $20.00 fee for this program.

Stretch and Strengthen Yoga

Meeting ten Thursday nights 5:15 - 6:15 PM at the Cape Light Compact, 261 White's Path, South Yarmouth. It is easy to increase flexibility and strength by incorporating yoga into your fitness routine! You will increase flexibility in your joints and strengthen your muscles during each session while decreasing the risk of injury. Yoga is great for mental well-being and lymphatic and digestive health. There is a $42.00 fee for this program.

Pilates

Meeting eight Friday nights 5:30 - 6:30 PM at the Cape Light Compact. Classes are non-recurring so check your schedule. This unique class infuses movement modalities of HIIT, Pilates, and Yoga to lift our heart rate, tone muscle and strengthen our core. With guided instruction and carefully curated music we move together one beat, one breath, one exercise at a time. We end the 60-minute class with a deep stretch and restorative cool down. There is a $34.00 fee for this program.

Yin Yoga for Healing

CCMHG Subscribers and their insured family members 16+ are invited to join us.


Beneficial for all levels, this class incorporates longer holds of floor-based postures to release tension held in the connective tissues of the body and facilitate ease of movement and peace of mind. Yin Yoga targets the deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues – ligaments, joints, bones, the deep fascia networks of the body and the meridians. Yin yoga is a quiet contemplative practice. Dawn Spunzo will be teaching this class.  


There will be a short meditation at the end of this practice. Please bring a yoga mat and a refillable water bottle. Join us for this wonderful FREE workshop!
