" When a raindrop taps on the window—it is My sign!
When a bird flutters—it is My sign!
When leaves are carried away by the whirlwind—
it is My sign!
When the sun melts the ice—it is My sign!
When waves wash away the soul’s sorrow—
it is My sign!
When the wing of illumination touches the perplexed soul—it is My sign!"
- Leaves of Morya's Garden II, vs 44
Greetings Fair Ones,
Hope this missive finds you all well. I will be flying back to Atlanta after 10 days at Echo Lake, CA. The picture above was taken after the rain and just before the sun started to set. The rain came and went over several days followed by a few days of sunshine, and of course the rain saw us off just as we left.
It was unuusally quiet up there this year, which was lovely. Days were filled with yoga at sunrise, hiking back into desolation, meditation, reading, and some chop wood/carry water stuff required by the gift of maintaining this beautiful place.
Regular class schedule resumes this Friday 9/5 with Healthy Backs at 12 pm, followed by Mixed Level Hatha on Saturday 9/6 at 8:15 am. I'm looking forward to seeing some of you there!
The Fall Course and Class Schedule will be out on Wednesday, 9/10 so keep an eye out for that newsletter.
What are your current inspirations? I’d love to hear about them!
With love and gratitude,
Teresa
