Urgent Sessions with Diana Spiess

Due to COVID and all things considered, Diana’s schedule and availability is now different. She is not expecting much of a change any time soon and is booking with the expectation that closings could happen again. With that said, if you are needing an urgent appointment, you can message her here for details and she will look to see where she can schedule you. She cannot promise how soon she will be able to get folks in but will do her best.  

Urgent sessions are: pain from mis-alignment that is stopping you from functioning, dis-stress that is debilitating, or via online sessions, urgent health coaching for emergency needs.

Please know that Diana will only be able to see emergencies with this option and, again, will do her best to schedule and cannot promise how soon.

System credit cannot be used for these sessions nor can current packages. There will be a fee specific for these sessions.
Yoga at the Park with Chelsea Continues
There has never been a more important time for us to get outside and commune with the earth, the sky, the water, and the air. Putting our feet right on the ground and expanding our hearts into the wide open spaces around us is profoundly grounding and freeing. If you need to release confusion, anxiety, toxicity, aggravation, or dis-ease of any kind, come out to the park, un-mask, and cleanse your world during the most nourishing 75 minutes you’ll have all week.

Chakra Series

The Sanskrit word Chakra literally translates to a wheel or disk. In Yoga, this term refers to wheels of energy throughout the body. There are seven main chakras, which align the spine, starting from the base of the spine through to the crown of the head. To visualize a chakra in the body, imagine a swirling wheel of energy where matter and consciousness meet. This invisible energy, called Prana, is a vital life force, which keeps us vibrant, healthy, and alive.
 
These swirling wheels of energy correspond to massive nerve centers in the body. Each of the seven main chakras contains bundles of nerves and major organs as well as our psychological, emotional, and spiritual states of being. Since everything is moving, it’s essential that our seven main chakras stay open, aligned, and fluid. If there is a blockage, energy cannot flow.
 
Gain an in-depth knowledge of the seven main chakras and how to keep your energy flowing freely through them in this workshop series. Each week will focus on one chakra:

What Matters Most?
The season of change and transition of fall that is unfolding will, most likely for most of us, be like no other we have experienced before. As we all continue to adjust to and work with all the new ways of working, educating our children, traveling, caring for our families, considering how we go about the holidays and so much more. The fall season brings forth the amazing, natural process of releasing what no longer serves us…just as the trees release their leaves and the plants their fruit. This year, most of us are reevaluating what no longer serves us from a very different perspective and wondering, “What matters most?” as we navigate so much.

In my most recent podcast, I pose this question in many ways: daily activities, weekly planning, our deepest, heartfelt desires, our entire journey. With my health coaching clients, when it comes to making changes for improving their wellness and being presented with choices for foods or drinks that don’t match the goals for the changes they are working toward, I remind them, “The decision you must make always is between what matters now versus what matters most.” At this point in time, many of us are so affected by stressors and decisions that we could not have seen coming. The process of meditation and the practice of yoga both help us learn how to be present in the moment and activate, through the Somatosensory system, the senses and receptors for feedback from all through the body. This, most likely, is the most important for the process of our own, person decision of, “What matters most?” The answers we need are already present. Asking questions, having conversations, noticing the signs that come our way on our journey, or studying are ways for us to gather information but the ultimate decision is ours to own and follow through with. This is why the “expert approach” most often does not work. No matter what someone tells us to do, even if it is a good thing, we will most likely not continue it or see it through until we “own it”.

This fall, as you decide what to stay with and what to release, I encourage you to reflect daily, and in many moments, “What matters most?” Does the decision(s) you are making line-up with and fuel your heart’s desire or does it/they drain it? Are you making the decision(s) because others are or because it lines up with what works for you and your family? Are you making a decision(s) that supports the community/world or does to break-down the community/world?  Are you deciding for short-term gain what will cause long-term suffering? All of these questions really come down to, “What matters most?”  
I have had to answer this question in every decision, many times a day, for essence, my family, and myself since this all began.  I wish you all peace, calm, and ease as you answer this for yourself and travel through this beautiful, amazing season of fall.
