Playing for a Purpose
It was all fun and games on Monday, September 13th, as Reading Power held our inaugural Play for Literacy Golf & Games event at Onwentsia Club in Lake Forest, IL.
Enjoying the beautiful late summer weather, attendees played a round of golf, learned a new card game, or joined us for our cocktail reception. The fun and fellowship guests shared were all in support of our mission to foster the promise of literacy for students in Lake County and beyond.
And support us they did!

With the generous sponsorships and donations we received, we’ve raised over $200,000 and counting to Extend, Expand, and Enhance our programming for more students this academic year. We truly appreciate the support to help us foster the promise of literacy.
Thank you to our Board, generous sponsors, staff members, and volunteers for making our inaugural event such a success.
