Memorial Hospital Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with its own Board of Directors, by-laws and Articles of Incorporation. We raise support for and manage 26 funds that provide financial assistance to Memorial Health System's patients and employees.
Hi Friend,

We’re so excited to share with you our August impact! We wanted to make you aware of the amazing things we were able to do last month as a result of supporters like you! We're also giving you a heads up on some upcoming fundraisers and sharing ways you can get involved in supporting Memorial Health System's patients.
In August, we had the following impact because of our supporters:

  • 396 medications for cancer patients
  • 7 breast imaging services for women
  • 47 medications for cardiac patients
  • 20 medications for endocrinology patients
  • 5 orders of medical supplies for ostomy patients
  • 12 infant car seats for pediatrics/NICU
  • 300 gait belts and hooks for patient rooms
  • 25 cribettes for mother/baby
  • 233 Halo Sleep Sacks for mother/baby
  • 2000 postpartum care books for mother/baby
  • 1 mamaRoo for NICU
  • Covered OT appointments for 2 breast cancer patients
  • Purchased a lymphedema garment for a breast cancer patient
  • Covered lymphedema therapies for a breast cancer patient

We've also secured $12,724,795 in grant funding so far this year.
The 2022 Carter’s Champions Pink Dress Run/Walk will take place on October 22 at 10am in downtown Gulfport. The event will include many other activities along with the run/walk such as the “Best Dressed Man in a Pink Dress Contest”, recognizing breast cancer survivors, and the “Pink Out Your Pet” contest. Proceeds benefit the Carter’s Champions Breast Cancer Fund which provides financial assistance to those in our community receiving treatment for breast cancer at Memorial.
We're excited to bring back an annual fundraiser, The Mad Hatter's Ball, on Friday, November 4th from 7 to 11 p.m. at The Chapel at Centennial Plaza. Join us for a night of whimsy and fun to support Memorial’s patients. 100% of the funds raised will stay in our community to help our neighbors in need. Attire is cocktail, and we encourage you to wear a fun, festive hat. The night will feature live music by New Orleans party band GOT Groove, specialty cocktails, delicious food, a Wonderland experience, and more surprises to come!

Thank you to our current sponsors!
