Bronson Children’s Hospital Run & Walk

Raises Record Amount

A record-setting $216,822 was raised at the 2022 Bronson Children’s Hospital Run & Walk! Funds raised support projects and services for young patients and families. With more than 1,900 registered participants, generous sponsors and donors, and more than 250 volunteers, the event was a tremendous success. “The energy at this year’s Run & Walk was outstanding,” says Terry Morrow, president of Bronson Health Foundation. “The community showed up in such a strong way to let our young patients and their families know that they are supported and cared for. It was great to bring people together again after two virtual event years."

Funds from the event go to Bronson Health Foundation's Children's Hospital Fund, which helps provide programs including child life, art and music therapy, a NICU family liaison, new equipment and technology and much more.

Next year’s Bronson Children’s Run & Walk is scheduled for Sunday, September 24, 2023!

Once babies in Bronson Children's Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit grow big enough, they are provided with a new cotton sleep sack, designed to keep babies comfortable and safe. We are grateful to the generous donors who provided funding for more than 500 of these cozy wraps.

Bronson is committed to safe sleep practices and helping families continue those practices once they bring their babies home.
