September Greetings From Jewish Family Services!
Todah rabah!
Jewish Family Services would like to thank everyone who participated in our community needs survey. Over 140 households in our community provided feedback about current and potential services we could provide, and we are already using this information to plan for the next year! While it is clear that we will not be convening together in the way that we used to for some time, JFS is now working on bringing back a number of our programs in remote fashion, including lunch and learn, as well as new programs, including new educational and group opportunities! Continue scrolling for updates on new JFS program offerings!
Current offerings from JFS
As our department has adapted to the need for physical distancing and the use of remote technology, we have put in place many ways to stay connected, including person-to-person calling, a Wellness-Focused weekly group, and more recently, tech help to make sure that everyone in our community can get connected. If any of these services would benefit you or someone you know, please contact JFS!
Amazon Prime for EBT and Medicaid Recipients
Anyone with an EBT or Medicaid card can qualify for reduced-price Amazon Prime, which includes free shipping of items directly to your home. Additionally, if you use Amazon Smile and select the Jewish Federation as your charity of choice, a portion of all purchases goes directly to the Jewish Federation! Need help signing up for Prime or Amazon Smile? Feel free to contact JFS staff, who will gladly assist you, or click below to get started.
