Bon Voyage Completes Renovation

Bon Voyage Storage has completed its renovation with upgraded features like an automatic gate, security cameras, a new perimeter fence, and a paved entry to better serve boat and RV owners in the area. The facility is located at 525 West Walnut Street, Oglesby, Illinois 61348.

Bon Voyage Storage includes approximately 81,000 square feet of fully enclosed warehouse storage. Prospective tenants can choose to store their boat or RV in an enclosed space on pavement or in a covered, three-sided canopy or uncovered space on gravel.

“We are excited to be part of the Oglesby community,” co-owner and Captain Katherine D’Agostino said. “Special thanks to the city for the facade grant. We are very grateful for the funds that helped bring our vision to fruition. We hope our complete overhaul of and upgrades to the facility make it the premier boat and RV storage option for the Starved Rock State Park area. Many local companies pulled together to make our facility a reality. We couldn’t have done it without them.”

The Illinois businesses that played key roles in renovating Bon Voyage Storage include Augustyniak Construction of Oglesby, Ficek Electric & Communications Systems of La Salle, and P&D Sign Company of Peru.

“I would also like to thank our onsite manager, Todd Chipman, and our business partner who is always ready to help with facility operations: Tony Bush of Bushman Enterprises.” Katherine said.

Bon Voyage Storage offers both month-to-month rentals and seasonal contracts to better accommodate tenants’ schedules, and they can rent any time of year. Furthermore, tenants can get access to pick up their vehicle anytime with 24-hours’ notice and drop off their vehicle in the securely gated holding lot at their convenience.

The facility management is excited to serve residents in all the surrounding communities such as Peru, Ottawa, La Salle, Webster Park, Dalzell, North Utica, Jonesville, Streator, Princeton, Mendota, Spring Valley, Marseilles, Granville, DePue, Hennepin, Ladd, Tonica, Lostant, and Naplate. Two WAO Members Teed Up to Give Back

Hosted by establishments Garzanelli’s Supper Club, Hillyer’s Archway Tap, and Smitty’s Bar & Grill, The Inaugural Trifecta Golf Outing aims to raise funds for the Leonore Fire Department and the Oglesby Police Shop with a Cop program. Both organizations play critical roles in ensuring the safety and well-being of our community.

The golf outing is officially full for teams, but there is still a way for you to get involved! Donations for raffle items are still being accepted. Anyone that would like to donate can drop off donations at any participating location.
