Only 4 weeks until the Weekend Stitching Retreat in Cambria on September 13 - 16!

If you're on the fence about whether to sign up for the weekend retreat @ the Squibb House in Cambria, here are details about the workshops happening during the event.

During Barry Klein's workshops on Saturday and Sunday mornings, you will learn to make these beautiful garments.

Diagonal Cross Stitch Wrap using Vibe and Colorissimo

Dropped Waffle Wrap using Gemini & Cheerleader

During Nancy Bates' workshop on Sunday afternoon, you will learn Hat Design Basics. This includes inspiration, gauge, stitch and yarn choices, putting it all together, etc. This is Nancy's favorite workshop to lead, so it will be fabulous!

Wine from Course & Wale and non-alcoholic libations will be pouring all weekend along with catered dinners from local favorites Boni's Tacos and Linn's Eats!

If you have a partner/friend who wants to attend the weekend with you, but is not interested in any of the workshops or shopping at the store, they can sign up for the Weekend Stitching Retreat 2024 - Meals Only Attendee event.

Kits from the Barry Klein workshops will be available for purchase after the weekend retreat. Nancy Bates Knitting California Beanie Kits are currently available for purchase in-store and online.

Classes and Workshops

In addition to the September Weekend Stitching Retreat, there are several opportunities to learn new skills in September and October! Don't miss out on learning the basics of Amigurumi crochet techniques to make your very own stuffed toy! This class is offered as an "after school" class in the shop and learners 10 years and older are welcome if they bring a parent or guardian!

We have hundreds of patterns available on our web site! You can filter by stitch gauge or yarn line to help you find what you're looking for. You'll find a variety of free and paid patterns for all stitch gauges for crochet and knit.

The sale section has been expanding as I've been clearing out discontinued yarns and colors to make room for the new stuff! Recent additions include: Bumblebee, Lumi, Milos, and Pure Love.
