  • Vitas has left 116 Canal Street and building owner Dick Rosedale is seeking new tenants.

  • If you haven't yet visited Me & Paw at 820 Canal Street, take the opportunity to stop by on September 18 for their ceremonial grand opening. They have all kinds of goodies for your furry friends and on that day you'll find games and giveaways and lots more fun.

  • The City continues its effort to spruce up Canal Street. You might have noticed that last week a program kicked off to repaint all the light poles. A new coat of gloss black paint makes a big difference.

  • We're also happy to report that 26 new, higher-capacity trash receptacles have been ordered. They are expected to arrive here in late September with installation commencing after that. Our current 20 smaller receptacles will be removed and used elsewhere. This is great news and CSHD really appreciates it.
Canal Street Classic Cruise Car Show
Saturday, September 11, 2021

At 4:00 pm the streets are blocked off to through traffic and the show begins. Expect to see anywhere from 200 to over 500 of the finest custom cars, trucks, and motorcycles you'll find in Florida.
