Where You Shop Matters...
When our shops don't have what you need, try our ebay store, or make your purchases using Amazon Smile, just select The Caring Place!
Occasionally, we find some treasures that sell better in an ebay store.  Shop there too and know your purchases still support The Caring Place!

Love shopping on Amazon?  Use Amazon Smile and, at no additional cost to you, donations are made to The Caring Place.  Just choose The Caring Place as your non-profit

Eating for Good continues this fall for one more huge giving day!  Join us on Tuesday, September 3rd at Fish City Grill in Wolf Ranch Shopping Center for a meal and 15% of your purchase will be donated to The Caring Place!

Tickets are NOW ON SALE for Deep in the Heart of Caring.  Join us October 5th for our biggest fundraiser of the year.  Dinner & dancing, live & silent auctions and a live cattle round up are waiting for you at Schwertner Ranch Event Center.  Who's our featured artist this year?  Country Music Award Winner, Rick Trevino! Buy tickets today at

  • Do you already have plans on October 5th and can't attend Deep in the Heart of Caring?  It's ok, we want to tell you how you can help The Caring Place without attending Deep in the Heart of Caring.  This year we are including a special campaign called, "Be the Light of Caring" and you can donate until October 5th.  Why do we need the "Be the Light of Caring" campaign?  In 2018, The Caring Place contributed $168,093 to help neighbors with utility bills.  This year we hope the Deep in the Heart of Caring event will allow us to cover most of that cost.  Contributions to this special "Be the Light of Caring" campaign will be combined with our Deep in the Heart fundraising efforts to help us reach our goal.  We are already 45% there!  To learn more, view our fundraising thermometer or to find the donate link, visit us at
If you'd like to download this flyer so you can share information about the Jackets 4 Georgetown program or encourage coat drives, please visit our seasonal flyer section at  You will find the flyer in both English and Spanish.
Our Food Pantry Needs in September

Did you know we have local gardening clubs that regularly donate extra produce to the Food Pantry?  We love the opportunity to provide local produce to our neighbors.

Fresh Food for Families and Labor Day Closure:  The Fresh Food for Families Program is held on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Monday of each month at 9:00 a.m. in the drive through at 2000 Railroad Avenue.  With no eligibility requirements, and loads of free fresh produce, we hope you utilize this event to promote a healthy diet!  Please note, the Fresh Food events in September are September 16th and September 30th.  All locations of The Caring Place are closed on Monday, September 2nd for Labor Day.
