WAGNALLS BOOK CLUB
NEXT MEETING...
Thursday, September 23rd, 7:00-8:00pm in the Loft.
This month, we will be reading Have Brides, Will Travel by William W Johnstone.

"Bo Creel and Scratch Morton aren't the settling down types. They're lifelong drifters who keep one eye on the horizon, one finger on the tigger, and one foot out the door. Roaming the West is what keeps them young, or so Scratch tells Bo. But when they save the life of Cyrus Keegan--the owner of a matrimonial agency--they receive an unexpected proposal that's hard to resist. Keegan needs to deliver five mail order brides to a mining town in New Mexico Territory. All Scratch and Bo have to do is get these gals to the church on time--and alive if possible... "

Book available for check-out in the library. Contact Lissie at [email protected] with questions.

WAGNALLS WEBSITE

InfOhio - (BookFlix)

Tired of battles over time spent watching Netflix? Give BookFlix a try. It was created by Scholastic for preschool to 3rd grade. Students choose from categories and receive a list of fiction and non-fiction book pairs that will appeal to even the most particular reader. Students then listen/read the pair of books and choose some fun activities to verify their comprehension.

BookFlix is recommended by our School Outreach Librarian-Amy Hesterman. It is available free to all Ohio schools and available to our patrons through our website at wagnallslibrary.org.
