PRESIDENT'S CORNER Hello fellow Alamo Ranchers    Happy almost fall y'all. Hope everyone is getting used to their new school schedules. Hoffmann Elementary was trying out a new pick-up system but it was not working so Volunteer Pkwy traffic should be back to normal now. The four-way stop on Alamo Pkwy is now active so please be aware of that. There has been progress on the master plan. The committee has been working with the architect and has submitted an outline to be discussed and approved, and that will be shared at the annual meeting.  Our annual meeting and election is coming up on October 3rd at Hoffmann cafeteria there were 7 applications so please check out their interview videos and applications and vote! The Alamo Ranch Community Association is seeking a Committee Chair to lead and recruit members of the VNAC. The ideal goal is to have 2 members from each Grant Community on the committee. The VNAC will interface with the Board of Directors to provide information and organize volunteer efforts on behalf of the Community Association. This committee will meet mainly, if not entirely, online in virtual discussions regarding the current state and future of the community & offer ideas and suggestions to the board of directors that will benefit the community as a whole.

From your Manager Reminder: The soccer field/park area is NOT an official dog park. You are welcome to utilize it to walk your dogs as long as you pick up after your pets. They are also required to remain on a leash. You cannot demand others leave the park area so you can unleash your dog. Please remain courteous to your fellow neighbors and be friendly when sharing the amenities. The Monument Landscape update continues. They are still working on the rock installation and irrigation repairs at some of the monuments. Plant installation will begin at the end of the month when it starts to cool down. We don't want the plants to burn up and die. Please remain patient as we work through each monument. They will all be completed. The fence replacement along La Villita Way continues. We started on Austin Grant this week. We are looking at (if everything goes smoothly) 4-5 weeks to complete the fence, and then they will stain the exterior. Please keep an eye out for an email the week prior to your fence being done. The approved greenbelt cleanup project is about 3/4 completed. They will continue to clear and remove debris in the coming weeks. Please remain patient. Just a reminder this project will have a crew out clearing a 3-4' buffer from the fence line and removing brush and tree limbs that may be leaning on the fence. In most cases, the removed debris will be moved further into the greenbelt, and in some cases, it will be removed from the area. There are roughly 6 miles of greenbelt area. HOA Assessments Your HOA 4th Quarter Assessments will be posted on October 1, 2023. Payments can be made at the office during normal business hours or can be dropped off in the after-hours drop box if after 5 PM via check, cashier's check, or money order (made out to ARCA).
