BEERS, BOWLING & BITES
SWFL Craft Beer Week starts off with an exclusive VIP event, "Beers, Bowling & Bites" at HeadPinz on Thursday, September 2. Attendees can meet the breweries who will be offering samples, take time to connect, and bowl! Each brewery will be offering one core beer and one specialty beer. Food and bowling provided by HeadPinz.

$100 per person - with $200 in benefits! Admission includes a $25 HeadPinz gift card, tickets for a free pint at 6 breweries during SWFL Craft Beer Week, 3 hours of bowling, food from Nemo's, and a Sept 5 VIP tour of Fort Myers Brewing Company.
SWFL CRAFT BEER WEEK
Our inaugural SWFL Craft Beer Week starts on Thursday, September 2 and runs through Monday, September 6! Follow this link to see the full schedule. The intent is to grow this into a week long event that can be hosted by an unlimited number of Chamber members, but for this year we are keeping it to Labor Day weekend.

BUSINESS BEFORE BREAKFAST
This event is for our early-risers! On Thursday, September 9 from 7:30AM-8:30AM enjoy light refreshments while networking at our monthly Business Before Breakfast event. This month's host is Sanibel Captiva Community Bank's Bridge Branch (9311 College Parkway). There is no cost to attend. We kindly ask you to register to help us with attendee counts for breakfast. Be sure to bring plenty of business cards!
LEADERSHIP NEXT AT TESLA
Leadership NEXT's September host is Tesla Fort Myers-Colonial Drive. Attendees will learn about Tesla's process, their cars, and new innovations that they are bringing to residences.

During the September 14 program, which runs from 5:00-7:00pm, attendees will have an opportunity to enter a drawing for an overnight experience with a car from Tesla's lot!

Leadership NEXT is free to attend for members of the Chamber, and $10 for future members. Admission includes one complimentary beverage. This event has limited capacity - make your reservation now!

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS AT THE
SECONDARY & POST-SECONDARY LEVELS
Join us on Wednesday, September 15 at the Hilton Garden Inn Fort Myers for this month's Chamber Luncheon. Guest speakers Kelly Thawley and Christian Zimmerman will discuss workforce development programs and initiatives the School District of Lee County offers at the secondary and post-secondary levels. 

Thawley will share information about the Career & Technical Education Department and their new contract with Transeo Jobs, an online, work-based learning experiences management platform. She will also share how local businesses can get connected to students by registering within the Transeo platform.

Zimmerman will share information about the HIRE (How I Reach Employment) Program offered to postsecondary non-degree seeking students with intellectual disabilities at Fort Myers Tech and Cape Coral Tech. The program assists students by providing hands-on learning leading to industry certifications. He will also provide information on how businesses can receive financial assistance to hire and retain these employees.  

The event takes place from 11:30AM to 1:15PM on Wednesday, September 15. $25 for Chamber Members, $35 for Future Members.
